about the collective
Maternal Wellness Collective
a group of trusted local providers
Support the providers behind the moms.
A support system for the providers who care for parents, women and kids. Starting in New Jersey, built in person, in your town.
them: “it’s just another networking group”
Actually, it's more.
A collective of providers who care for parents, women and kids, growing our practices together.
what we are
Behind‑the‑scenes support
that grows a practice.
We support the small businesses that support parents: monthly chapter meetups, members-only business events, a chapter group chat, your spot on the map, and providers who send families your way.
business, built in
The part of membership that grows the practice.
Your network is where your next client comes from. Chapters are where it starts, and the business support comes with every membership.
for parents
Truly trusted, local providers in your area.
Search "therapist near me" and you get the big practices and whoever bought the ad. The provider two streets over, the one the other providers in town would send their own sister to, is on page four. She's on this map.
Every provider here has attested to an active license or certification, works in your area, and is known by the others in her town. We're a community, not a licensing board, so please confirm any provider's license with the state before you begin care. Look by town, not by budget.
Know an incredible local provider? Send her an invite to be listed.
Want to hear more? Tips, events and providers near you, for parents.
You're on the list.
Only the good stuff: trusted providers near you, and tips worth your time.

hey, we're Caitlyn & Lindsay
Two providers who got tired of climbing alone.
A perinatal therapist and a pelvic floor and pediatric PT, both building practices in New Jersey.
We understand what it feels like to build a solo practice. You don't always know who to trust, and you're trying to meet as many people as you can. That's why we started this: a place to land softly and build your brand as a trusted local provider.

a different model
We're not climbing the ladder. We're building a web.
Growing a practice alone means paying for ads, driving to other people's events and hunting for the right people to trust. The most meaningful growth comes from connecting and collaborating in your own community.
Generic mom-business groups
Coaches, designers, product brands and providers all in one room. Great for encouragement, but a pelvic floor PT has little reason to refer to a candle maker.
The Maternal Wellness Collective
Perinatal and pediatric providers across specialties, all serving the same families. Different enough that nobody competes, close enough that everyone refers.
Single-specialty networks
A room full of PTs. Useful for clinical learning, but everyone is chasing the same clients, so referrals rarely flow.
about the collective
A trusted local collective for parents, women and kids.
We are a blooming network of local professionals who care for parents, women and kids through every stage, from pregnancy and birth to the early years and beyond, physical and emotional and everything in between. The people who hold that network up are providers. This space is for them.
who we are
Built for the providers who care for parents, women and kids.
The Maternal Wellness Collective is for licensed and certified providers who care for parents, women and kids and want more than networking. We span the whole arc of parenthood, from baby bumps to big kids: doulas, midwives, lactation consultants, pelvic floor PTs, perinatal and women's therapists, pediatric OTs and speech therapists, sleep consultants, tutors and learning specialists, and more.
We are a support system for perinatal and pediatric providers who are building small businesses from the ground up and want to thrive locally. We cover what actually grows a practice: the providers around you, local events you run yourself, business strategy and SEO, and the mental load of doing it alone. You'll find monthly chapter meetups, members-only business events, a chapter group chat and a community of providers who totally get it.
What sets us apart? We are the providers ourselves, building something for each other, and the door is open to anyone who serves parents, women and kids.
the old-school way
Let's get off social media and meet in person.
The relationships that grow a practice don't happen in a comment section. They happen over coffee, on a walk, at a workshop, when you introduce two providers who should already know each other. That's how we build the collective: grassroots, town by town, face to face.
We'll still amplify your business online. That's the bonus, not the point.
our core message
Happy, supported providers mean happy parents.
As co-founders we're always saying that happy parents raise happy kids. The same is true one step up. Parents are only as supported as the providers around them, so we built a support system for the providers.
A community of providers
Perinatal and pediatric providers in your town, across specialties, who refer to each other and show up for each other.
Happy parents
Supported from baby bumps to big kids by the same trusted faces at the library, the park and the pediatrician's office.
Happy kids
The whole point, and the reason we do this.
own your town
Deeply rooted. Locally trusted.
Mom groups dominate local events and providers pay to follow them, driving all over the county for a few minutes in front of parents. MW Co. works the other way. Members host their own events, backed by a village of local providers, and the collective helps fill the room.
- Your events, your relationships. When you host, the parents who come are yours to know and serve.
- No long drives. Members focus on their own town and support the towns around it.
- The whole web, one message away. Need a co-host, a speaker or a referral outside your specialty? Ask any member.
- Neighbors help neighbors. Nearby chapters join forces for bigger events and share what's working.
the culture
Give to get.
Real relationships come first. Here's what every member signs up for, from day one.
- Show up. Monthly chapter meetups and at least one chapter event a quarter. A coffee meetup is the simplest way to start.
- Show up for each other. Come to the meetup, co-host the workshop, introduce two providers who should already know each other. We share your work online too, but the relationships happen in person.
- Refer generously. No one is paid, discounted or rewarded for client referrals, and we don't track them. We refer because it's right for the family in front of us.
- You'll be accepted here. Even the most experienced members were where you are once. They're here to help the next person do it faster.

lead a chapter
Be the go-to provider in your town.
Every chapter starts with one provider who raises her hand, and every Chapter Lead is interviewed before her chapter opens. Chapter Leads receive Network membership complimentary, a starter package so nothing starts from scratch, and the co-founders in their corner.
the Chapter Lead role
The go-to person for providers in her town.
One Chapter Lead per town. She leads the chapter, owns the group chat, hosts local events and welcomes every new member first.
- Lead the chapter. The go-to person for the women's, maternal and pediatric providers where she lives.
- Own the group chat. Her chapter's Instagram or WhatsApp chat, with the co-founders included.
- Host local events. At least one a quarter: walks, workshops, coffee meetups, with the collective helping fill the room.
- Approve and welcome members. She decides who joins, then makes the introductions.
- Shape the collective. A quarterly planning call with the co-founders, like a mini board.

for parents
Your trusted local village.
The providers who care for you and your kids, who already know each other, in your town.
New Jersey ZIPs for now, while we start here. Providers who see clients virtually appear wherever you search.
why a village
A continuum of care, not a list of names.
Most directories hand you one provider. We hand you the circle around her: the women's health NP, the pelvic floor PT, the sleep consultant, the pediatric OT, the therapist and the psychiatrist who already send each other their own patients.
So when you need the next person, your provider texts her. You don't start over on page one.
hyper-local, by design
Your town, not whoever bought the ad.
Search "provider near me" and you get the big practices and the sponsored result. Every member here actively serves your town, in an office down the street, through concierge visits to your home, or virtually, and many have for a decade or more.
Search by ZIP and a radius, and you get the people who know and support your town on a continuous basis.
known by each other
Vouched for by the people who'd know.
Members vouch for the colleagues they have actually worked beside, the ones they'd send their own sister to. Every vouch is a name, not a star from a stranger.
three steps
Build your village in a minute.
Type your ZIP
And pick a radius. Five miles for walking distance, twenty-five for the whole county.
Pick what you need
Pelvic floor, sleep, feeding, a therapist, a pediatrician. Or leave it open and meet everyone nearby.
Print your village
Save the map and the list as a one-page PDF for the fridge, or share it with the other parents in your group.
Every provider has attested to an active license or certification. MW Co. is a community, not a licensing board; please confirm any provider with your state licensing board (in New Jersey, the Division of Consumer Affairs) before beginning care.
the provider network
Trusted local providers.
Every member has attested to an active license or certification in perinatal, women's health or pediatric care; please confirm it with the state before beginning care. Find one near you, or find your future referral partners.
are you a provider?
Your name belongs on this page.
Every member gets a full profile on our website, linked to their practice. Network members are also featured on the provider map, with their classes and events on the calendar.
events
Fun, meaningful and productive.
The co-founders host happy hours, coffee chats, screenings of perinatal and postpartum films, and business strategy evenings. Chapters host walks, workshops and meetups in their own towns. All of it close to home.
upcoming
Save the date.
the rhythm
One event a month. The rest is up to you.
That is the whole requirement for a Chapter Lead: one gathering a month, in your town. Most are for providers. Now and then one is for the families you serve.
Coffee meetups, networking walks, office hours, admin days
The heart of it. Show up, work alongside each other, and get to know who's in town.
Roundtables and mini workshops
Small-topic sessions led by whoever knows it best: a system that works, a hire that went well, a lesson learned.
Co-hosted classes and workshops for families
When a provider wants to teach, the chapter helps fill the room. Any member's family-facing event can go on the calendar too.

- Members go first. Every member can book a chat; Chapter Leads get theirs within 90 days.
- Short on purpose. Ten minutes, filmed once, published here and on Instagram with a written Spotlight.
- Guests worth the seat. The experts from our quarterly business nights sit down for a chat the same evening.

who can join
The collective is for the professionals who care for parents, women and kids.
- Licensed professionals. OBs and midwives, nurse practitioners, pelvic floor and pediatric PTs, perinatal therapists and psychologists, pediatric OTs, speech and feeding therapists, dietitians, pediatricians and pediatric dentists, women's health and perimenopause providers, chiropractors, acupuncturists.
- Certified professionals. Doulas, IBCLCs and lactation counselors, pediatric sleep consultants, childbirth and babywearing educators, tutors and learning specialists, parent and family coaches.
- Not sure you fit? Ask us. Your Chapter Lead and the co-founders give eligibility guidance whenever someone's unsure.
How does sign-up work?
Pick a tier above and check out through Stripe. Then complete the short provider interest form so we can connect you with the chapter in your town, add you to the group chat and get your directory listing live. Your welcome post goes up once your Chapter Lead has said hello.
Is there a chapter in my town yet?
Chapters are active across Morris, Sussex, Essex and Union Counties: Morristown, Denville, Randolph, Hamburg and Sussex County, Montclair, Fairfield, Westfield with Scotch Plains and Cranford, and South Orange and Maplewood. New chapters open as providers raise their hands. If your town doesn't have one, join a neighboring chapter or start your own as a Chapter Lead, which includes Network membership complimentary.
Can I change tiers or cancel?
Yes. Membership is month to month. Change tiers or cancel anytime from your Stripe receipt, or message us and we'll take care of it.
I'm brand new with a tiny following. Is this for me?
Especially for you. Anyone can join, but the need is highest for someone just starting out. A brand-new provider who wants to grow is often the most motivated person in the room, and the whole chapter shows up for her from day one.
I'm established, with a full practice. Is this for me?
Yes, and the Network tier was built with you in mind. Established members use the collective to scale: hiring, adding a second location, building group programs and systems. They use sister chapters and the map to expand into other towns. And they turn experience into paid work: leading a chapter, teaching at members-only business events, and mentoring newer providers through our paid mentorship program. The room needs people who have already done it.
Do I have to host events?
Chapters host at least one event a quarter together, and a class, workshop or walk you already run can count. Showing up to your chapter's monthly meetup matters more than hosting.
